Yes I do !
October 23, 2004
It was a cold and drizzling Saturday morning, but everyone arrived at the Mountain winery with a warm and cheerful heart. All came to witness the union of Christian and Qi (also pronounced "Kwi" ;-). Lots of emotion flooded the winery as Mr. Wang handed his precious daughter to Christian. The bride and groom were both a little nervous when the moment came to exchange the rings, but they eventually figured out which were the "right" hand and finger. Congratulations to both of them.
Labor day weekend
September 4, 2004
It has been a long time since PP and KK last spent a weekend on their own. Labor Day weekend turned out to be the perfect opportunity to get out for a romantic trip. On the menu: Six Flags (Valejo) and Lassen National Park. A weekend to remember!
Holidays in Taiwan
December 22, 2004
We have been waiting for almost a year, but here we are on holidays again. The obvious destination after Switzerland was of course: Taiwan! So that's were we went to meet Karen's friends and family, who all gave us a warm welcome. Besides all the delicious meals, we even had time to attend calligraphy lessons, do some extreme-tourism in the rainy mountain and enjoy the foggy atmosphere of the spas. We'll be back!
Bye bye interns
September 3, 2004
Every good thing has to come to an end. After six month of hard labor, it is time to celebrate the departure of our dear internship students. For this occasion, Remy organized a nice get-together at his house where everyone could enjoy the delicious food and the new swimming pool (yes, even Danny !). As for the interns, they both promised that they "will be back". Good bye and good luck.
Gambling in Reno
August 28, 2004
Bingo! As the sun rose over Reno, one could swear that the sound of the slot machines could already be heard on that party bus. Many of the avid gamblers recited incantations to the local gods, such as Harrah’s, Silverado and Circus Circus. As the bus hit its final stop and before pursuing their quest, everyone agreed to meet a few hours later.Although the fortune fairy did not show her smile to everyone, everyone came back with theirs. So, did anybody win the grand price? You will never know: What happens in Reno stays in Reno!
BBQ Olympics
August 22, 2004
Happy reunion in Los Gatos this Sunday, where Christian and Mrs. Gavin-to-be were welcoming their charming friends to a BBQ party. The sweet aroma of the BBQ, the six-hand piano concerto and the un-censored jokes from Arnaud blended into the warm atmosphere that everyone enjoyed.
